Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies



  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs‍
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 8 oz milk chocolate chips


Using a mixer, blend butter and shortening until smooth. Add in eggs, sugars, and vanilla and mix. Add baking soda, salt, and flour slowly and mix until blended. Mix in Milk chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate dough over night or at least 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375* and spoon out one inch drops of dough onto a baking sheet, 2 inches or more apart. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until tops of cookies begin to get golden. Let cool on a rake and store with a slice of bread with them to keep them soft!

Serve with a glass of cold refreshing milk!
