Meet the Klein Family of Silver Meadows Farms in Silver Springs, New York. Ron Klein and his father started farming in 1953. His son Stan came into the partnership and built a state of the art parlor in the 1970’s. Today, the fourth generation, Russ, has joined the 700 acre farm and has built a barn where their 200 cows are milked by two robots! The milk they produce is sent to processors that bottle fluid milk, make yogurt, string cheese, chip dip, and all sorts of other dairy products! This picturesque dairy hosts many visiting government officials, school groups, and tours in effort to help the public understand where their milk comes from!
